Dance Key West & The Love Maximum with special guest David Dusylovitch:

Two trios come together for an intimate evening of music and movement.

Dance Key West
Founded in 2008, Dance Key West is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. Under the direction of Kyla Piscopink, we continue to grow into our tenth year by remaining true to our goal of creating original quality works and innovative outreach programs. As we look back at the last decade, we are filled with pride. Our accomplishments include bringing original, professional dance performances to the stages of Key West, and to NYC’s Lincoln Center, Dixon Place, New York Fashion Week and Triskelion Arts.

While maintaining a busy and creative performance schedule, we have also had the pleasure of the developing outreach programs right here in Key West. Thus far, we’ve created workshops dedicated to helping young choreographers find their voice, and partnered with local agencies such as MARC and Bahama Village Music Program to custom build outreach programs specifically designed for the populations they serve. These programs have taught us the true beauty, strength and importance of dance.

In addition to outreach and performance, Dance Key West has partnered up with Key West Theater to offer weekly movement classes and workshops for all levels, including a free class for children enrolled with Bahama Village Music Program, and Autism Movement Therapy (coming soon!). Our class offerings are for anyone who wants to move their body, feel healthy and be happy.

All of our accomplishments have been made possible thanks to the unwavering passion and commitment from Dance Key West and the generous support from our friends. Thank you.

Mission: To support and produce the artistic vision of Kyla Piscopink, to promote the art of dance, and to share the experience of the art form by engaging individuals, the underserved community of Key West, and communities beyond.
The Love Maximum
One night in Key West five years ago, Ben and Tory went to an open mic night. They heard each other play a few songs, and thought they ought to know each other. In the following years they became friends, began to perform together, and eventually formed The Love Maximum.

As it happens, Ben and Tory are both from Massachusetts, and occasionally return there to play — this summer in Provincetown, where Ben spent six years busking, writing original music, and building a local following before moving south.

Tory is a visual artist, and spent her years traveling before finding home in Key West. Here she found outlets for musical expression, and with Ben, began writing and performing regularly.
